For some, yes, but for me, it's special.
When I was younger, I had a terrible time underestimating myself and not believing in myself. When I put on makeup, I didn't feel very pretty, maybe just for a moment, but when I saw other girls, I immediately felt inferior.
I told myself that I had no right to do this, that I wasn't the one who could afford it. Other people's comments added to all of this.

Painted
We humans sometimes don't realize how powerful words are. I've heard - only stupid girls wear makeup, especially since you wore makeup but didn't do this, or - did you need to boost your self-confidence with this?
Embarrassing remarks, right? But saying that to a girl who is in her teens is a bit of a bummer, my dears.
All of this got under my skin and it was hard for me to beautify myself without feeling guilty. So I withdrew, I rarely wore makeup, and when I did, it was very subtle.
I didn't wear lipstick much, I only put it on at home (safely) and dreamed of wearing it without guilt and proudly.
Fraela for me
And so I discovered fraela, a natural brand of decorative cosmetics owned by two friends.
These two women don't just make great cosmetics, they elevate their entire work beautifully by raising the self-confidence of every woman and showing them (us) that wearing makeup and feeling beautiful is for all of us.
